Super excited to join with a group of amazing women in putting this together! My name is Gyan(@gyanlakshmi on X) and we have been building The Phoenix Guild to onboard the next million female buildooors to web3.
This hub will act as a space where people can come and ask questions, get involved in discussions and learn some cool new things.
Can’t wait to be a part of this adventure at DevCon

A quick update: We have extended the deadline to submit a community hub application by one week, to the 7th of September 2024 (AoE time). You can now expect to hear from us about the outcome of your proposal by mid-September.

As the founder of Violet Verse, a blockchain blog where anyone with a crypto wallet or email can sign up and start contributing, I’ve seen a lot of changes in Web3 content creation. I’m proposing to host a workshop on how to create engaging content that speaks to the core of blockchain and Web3 infrastructure.

We’re excited to let you know that your proposal has been selected as a Community Hub for this year’s Devcon! However, we still strongly encourage you to rope in more women centric groups, such as SheFi and Boys Club DAO.
What’s next?
- Submit a DIP: To confirm your commitment, please submit a DIP in our DIP repository. This helps us track all community initiatives, and your Hub will be featured in the DIPs section of the Devcon website. Please tag proposal with ‘Community Hub’. Here’s an example from last year.
- Production details: We’ll collaborate with our production team to prepare a manual covering all the logistics for your space. Expect it within the next week or two.
- Program planning: We’ll work with you to refine your program and offer feedback to help create an amazing experience for Devcon attendees.
- Communication channels: We’ll set up the necessary channels to stay in touch from now until the end of Devcon.
