Summary
Dedicated space for exploring trust, leadership, and coordination within decentralized systems. It welcomes individuals eager to learn about leadership, mental health, and essential soft skills. Our hub will serve to foster participatory governance, conflict resolution, and nonviolent communication, empowering sustainable and human-centered Web3 communities.
This hub invites participants to engage with the human side of Web3: how we build trust, navigate conflict, and make inclusive decisions. These skills are foundational for the longevity and resilience of any decentralized ecosystem.
Why a Community Hub Format?
Human coordination cannot be fully captured in a one-time panel or technical workshop. It requires an ongoing, immersive environment that supports collective reflection, vulnerability, and co-creation. A community hub facilitates sustained engagement over several days, attracting diverse contributors and fostering deeper connections. Through roleplays, open circles, co-design labs, and case study exchanges, participants can practice fundamental tools and leave with applicable insights.
Grounded in Gravity DAO’s Work
Gravity DAO brings credibility and proven methodology to this space. By applying tested frameworks in conflict transformation, leadership development, and trust-building, the hub creates a safe, supportive, and actionable environment. Our open-source resources, including mental models for decision-making and tools for nonviolent communication, have been co-developed with communities and tailored to the unique needs of decentralized governance.
A Timely and Critical Focus
As the Web3 ecosystem matures and DAOs proliferate, effective human coordination is no longer optional—it is essential. Technical solutions alone cannot solve the social challenges of decentralization. This hub addresses the growing demand for trust infrastructure, equitable leadership, and cultural well-being in Web3 communities. By offering this at Devcon, we support innovation and its sustainability.
List of tech, supplies and other needs:
In addition to the support provided by the Devcon team, our Hub will require specific production facilities to ensure a seamless and enriching experience for our participants.
We might require additional equipment to make the space more cozy, including:
- Comfortable seating for various sessions
- Floor cushions for small group discussions,
- Projector or screen for presentations
- Tables for hands-on workshops
- Whiteboards for interactive training
- Speakers with calming music to create a welcoming and empowering environment.
We may also incorporate subtle ambient music and low-light areas to create relaxed discussion zones, creating an inviting and emotionally safe space for deeper conversation.
