ARG Community Hub Proposal: Robotics AI

Please give a short description of the topic/cause for your Community Hub

Decentralized Robotics AI

What will you offer to the Devcon attendees?

I am personally focused on Federated Learning for Robotics AI with ZK proving and on-chain incentives. Submitted an event, which is already at capacity. This hub would be an ideal meeting spot: zk0.bot Federated Learning for Robotics AI · Luma

I know there are other folks in the ETH community working on robotics AI:

Add a rough outline of your Community Hubs program

  • Promote awareness of the world changing potential for real world Robotoics AI.
  • Raise concerns about the concentration of AI capacity in a few actors with massive super compute clusters and real world data gathering at scale.
  • Brainstorm on incentive designs to leverage community compute and real time data in order to train and use open decentralized models as an alternative to frontier proprietary AI.
  • Present projects in the works (zk0.bot, cheerbot.org, etc.)
  • Brainstorm on leveraging latest breakthroughs in real time zk proving to address federated learning challenges (e.g. adversary nodes).

List the people who will organise, oversee and be responsible for the Community Hub

List the equipment or production needs (see what’s possible in the RFP)

  • White board
  • Presentation screen or projector
  • A few power outlets to plugin laptops and robotics arms

Hello @ivelin and co-organizers,

Thank you for applying to organize a Community Hub for Devconnect ARG! Your proposal has now entered the voting phase.

In the coming days, the Devconnect team will review all submissions and select the ones that best reflect the spirit of the first Ethereum World’s Fair. Selected proposals will be announced during the week of September 8. After that, we’ll move into a collaborative phase to refine each Hub’s concept, programming, and production needs.

We appreciate your contribution to shaping the first Ethereum World’s Fair.

Hi @ivelin,

Thank you for sharing your proposal with us. The space for Community Hubs at the Ethereum World’s Fair is limited, which means we’ve had to make some difficult choices. Unfortunately, your proposal wasn’t selected as an independent topic this time.

That said, we see strong alignment with other content formats within the World’s Fair, and we’d like to explore together this option with you. For this reason, we’ll reach out for a discovery call.

We truly value the initiative and ideas you bring to the community, and we look forward to seeing you at the first Ethereum World’s Fair!

With gratitude,
Ornella & the Devconnect team
