Childcare at DevCon

This is my first time attending DevCon so forgive me if I’m uninformed. But, I will be attending this year with my husband and our two kids. Both my husband and I are in Crypto and so we would both like to attend the event.

I searched on the website to see if there was childcare. If there is not childcare at DevoCon I’d like to propose that it it be added to the operations of the conference. Similar to how EthDenver offers event sponsored, vetted childcare for attendees. (ETHDenver 2024 #BUIDLathon + Community Innovation Festival)

This will be my first DevCon & perhaps my first outing with my kid.

Childcare arrangement will be much appreciated.

I’m also attending DevCon with my wife and our kid.
It would be great if childcare services would be available (even if paid).

Hi all. Thanks for sharing your support of this idea. We do recognize the benefits and importance of this idea and have discussed it quite a bit as a team.

Ultimately, we have decided not to have an official childcare at Devcon this year. There are a lot of factors to consider to do this well, including but not limited to: security, liability, cost, utilization, etc. While we won’t have this at Devcon this year, it is definitely still on our minds for future years.
