What do you suggest?
A dedicated “First-Time Experience Zone” at DevCon to help beginners and first-time attendees navigate Web3 and the event smoothly. It will include quick onboarding sessions, a help desk, and interactive networking boards.


Motivation & Rationale
Large Web3 events can feel overwhelming, especially for newcomers. This initiative makes DevCon more inclusive and accessible by helping attendees understand the ecosystem, find relevant sessions, and connect with like-minded people.

Ethereum use case showcased:
Community-driven onboarding, decentralization of knowledge, and open collaboration—core principles of Ethereum.


Implementation
This concept is inspired by onboarding/help zones seen in tech communities and hackathons.

Execution plan:

-Set up a small dedicated space

-Run 5-10 min quick intro sessions

-Provide QR-based resources (wallets, communities, guides)

-Add a “Find your tribe” networking board


Operational Requirements & Ownership
Requirements:

-Small booth/space

-Basic setup (table, standees, QR posters

-Volunteers to manage the zone

Ownership:

-Managed by volunteers (including myself)

-Can collaborate with community partners and onboarding-focused projects

Integration:

-Can align with DevCon onboarding initiatives, community DAOs, and educational projects


Links & Additional Information
Can be extended into a content series (pre/post DevCon) to help more people onboard into Web3 beyond the event.
