- Abstract
Nomadia is a decentralized OTC (over-the-counter) protocol designed for emerging markets, enabling users to convert crypto into local currency through a non-custodial, escrow-based system. Built as webapp and trusted by local affiliates, Nomadia creates a peer-to-peer trust layer in regions where centralized off-ramps fail.
In this talk, we’ll explore:
- How Argentina is the blueprint for global crypto usability.
- Why local OTC markets are the real battleground for crypto adoption.
- How our escrow system protects both sides without custody.
- What it takes to make 1 billion people onchain — for real.
- Our path to integrate DeFi staking, reputational slashing, and ZK proof of identity for long-term resilience.
