DEVCon notes / wiki

@luca just made me aware of a interesting endeavor - of collecting DEVCon notes:
https://devconwiki.vercel.app
Maybe as an endeavor for next year we could create a (hopefully web3-enabled) wiki - maybe only accessible for identities with a ticket attestation (cc @STJ) that we can pre-populate with content from pretalx to create the initial pages for talks like this: Post-Merge Wallet -currently this seems a manual step

thanks for sharing @ligi indeed we are sharing it with people now to see if they want to contribute to the wiki, that should give a good idea of how helpful this is. In any case for Thiago and me that have been taking these notes, it has been great to solidify our learning from the talks. The first feedback we got is that having the links and references is very helpful.

Ultimately, adding more web3 features is the goal, ticket attestation would be great!

Awesome endeavor. This is something that we can implement using ticket attestations.

Another thought: we could link these pages from the video and the video inside the page. So e.g. people watching the video can also make notes directly and people reading the notes and get interested can quickly jump to the video.
This could be fully automated as part of the StreamETH video pipeline.

that would be awesome, I’ve been looking at some options for making it easy for people to edit rather than doing a PR or adding issues, but I haven’t found something great yet.

I was thinking of a simple sign-in with Ethereum to edit notes and potentially also connect that to ticket attestation.

For StreamETH, the automation would be the play/pause part?

yea - unfortunately currently web3 wiki software is still lacking …

no filling the metadata was what I was thinking about - not sure what you mean with play/pause here

Collecting more ideas: maybe automated (AI) transcriptions like: https://devcon.mattersearch.ai can be used to pre-fill the wiki-pages

This is awesome!

Indeed I think the web3 wiki could be quite useful, being able to reward people directly for good contributions.

can also use https://devcon.wiki now.
