Integration of Reclaim Protocol for Identity Verification

This proposal recommends integrating Reclaim Protocol to enhance attendee verification and inclusivity. Our solution offers multiple options for verifying nationality, providing flexibility and speeding up the process to just a few seconds.

Key Features:

  • Multi-Option Verification: Multiple ways to verify nationality, providing flexibility and speeding up the process.
  • zkTLS Infrastructure: Secure nationality verification without revealing extra personal data or requiring app installations.
  • Seamless Experience: Facilitates nationality-based discounts and exclusive access, benefiting both crypto-native and non-crypto attendees.
  • Ease of Use: No app installation required, simplifying the process and attracting new users to the Ethereum ecosystem. It just takes ~4 Sec to generate a proof.

This integration aims to enhance user experience, boost engagement, and expand the Ethereum community.

User Flow

  1. Scan the QR Code: Begin by scanning the QR code relevant to the type of verification needed.
  2. Navigate to the Website: You’ll be directed to the specific website from which the verified credentials will be generated.
  3. Generate a zkProof: A zero-knowledge proof (zkProof) is generated in approximately 4 seconds.
  4. Share the Proof: Share the proof seamlessly with third parties, ensuring only the necessary data is shared.

This streamlined, secure process allows users to share verifiable credentials without compromising their privacy, enhancing trust and efficiency in data sharing.

Interesting proposal - thanks for submitting. How would this play with the other local discounts proving methods we have in place currently? How can we prevent a user getting a discount 2 ways?

We are market-ready, with proofs generating in about 4 seconds. Reclaim works seamlessly both on-chain and off-chain, and even non-tech users can easily use it.

For the second question, I’d like to know more about why a user will claim discounts in two different ways?

To resell heavily discounted tickets. This is an issue I see. With the passport and AA QR proofs we have ways to check at the door. With the website I am not sure. Is there a way for us to test it?

Hey Ligi,

I have added a detailed description in DIP, let me know if anything else is needed.

I merged the DIP (as a Draft - does not mean it is accepted)
would you have time for a call for the details?

Sure. I will share my calendar. please ping me on TG

I am not on TG
