Argentina Capital de LATAM de Desarrolladores!!! La prĂłxima Devcon mundial 2025 tiene que ser en LATAM!!!
Argentina Gonna Make It !!!
This would be amazing! I would love for DevConnect 2025 to be held in Buenos Aires.
I know that those who live in BA will go out of their way to make the guests feel at home!
Argentina community and the country as a whole needs DevCon. Argentina is poised to become the first cripto nation and the power of Devcon 2025 with Crecimiento and Aleph can make it happen!
I totally support this proposal!
Argentina is ready and deserves to host Devconnect 2025
Itâs time for Argentina to take the spotlight. The country has an incredible amount of potential and valuable resources that make it an ideal destination for Devconnect 2025.
Argentina isnât just about vibrant energy and cultural vibes that captivate everyone; itâs home to builders who are driving innovative, top-tier solutions that can truly revolutionize the ecosystem.
Weâre ready - bring it on!
Argentina, and Buenos Aires in particular, has a growing crypto ecosystem. We should ask ourselves why. Perhaps it is because of the corruption, inflation, poverty or lack of education that society has been suffering from for decades.
The adoption of blockchain technology, the large number of projects and the crypto ecosystem are a perfect example of the resilience of Argentine society in its quest to get ahead despite everything. The change in the governmentâs ideology also makes it possible to visualize the opening of new perspectives for greater adoption of new technologies.
There is no precise data on the adoption rate, but it is estimated to exceed 6% of the total population and approximately 12-15% of the economically active population.
Choosing Buenos Aires as the venue for Devconnect 2025 would be an opportunity to showcase the potential of developers, projects and the growth of the ecosystem in the region.
is the way, hands down.
Buenos Aires is definitely the place to do Devconnect! In addition to the huge ethereum community it has a large crypto community in general and many people working in technology and public and private universities with dozens of young students, teachers and researchers.
Fully support the idea
As someone whoâs been part of the blockchain community for years, I canât think of a better place to host Devconnect 2025 than Buenos Aires. This city isnât just my home; itâs a hub of innovation, where tech and creativity collide in the most inspiring ways. Buenos Aires has this unique energyâitâs a place where ideas come to life, and every conversation feels like it could spark the next big breakthrough. Plus, the warmth and hospitality of the people here make it a welcoming spot for anyone visiting from around the world. Iâm thrilled to see the global community come together in a city thatâs so close to my heart. Trust me, youâre in for an unforgettable experience!
I was part of Aleph throughout the entire month of August, thereâs no doubt that Argentina is the perfect place for Devconnect 2025. â
Argentina is at the heart of Latin Americaâs crypto revolution. Aleph was a clear demonstration of the infinite builder potential we have to become the crypto capital of the world. Hosting Devconnect here would not only energize this thriving ecosystem but also showcase how weâre leading innovation in the global crypto space.
Argentina stands as a beacon in Latin Americaâs crypto movement. The Aleph event highlighted our incredible potential to shape the future of global finance. Bringing Devconnect to Argentina would fuel our vibrant community and demonstrate our leadership in driving worldwide crypto innovation.
Argentina is the ideal location for Devconnect 2025 due to its vibrant and rapidly growing Ethereum community, which has become a global hub of innovation. Buenos Aires, with its thriving tech ecosystem, proven track record of hosting major crypto events, and strong grassroots movement, offers a unique opportunity to connect with a community that is actively shaping the future of blockchain. The cityâs dynamic blend of cultural richness and cutting-edge technology makes it the perfect stage for Ethereumâs next big leap.
Buenos Aires is the spot for Devconnect 2025.
The cityâs buzzing with web3 builders and offers tons of great placesâcafĂ©s, parks, coworking spacesâperfect for connecting.
Beyond that, BAâs got amazing culture, with art, music, and performances everywhere. Plus, if you want to explore, cheap flights can take you to stunning spots like Patagonia, Mendoza, Salta, or Iguazu Falls.
Argentinians in web3 are all about making the world better, and Buenos Aires is where you can feel that energy in full force.
See you in 2025

We couldnât agree more. During 2023 and 2024, we hosted the largest Ethereum-focused events in the region:
In these events, we focused on the why of Ethereum, what makes it special and relevant in the context of emerging technologies, and the role it can play as infrastructure to improve the quality of life for millions of people worldwide.
The Ethereum community in Argentina is undoubtedly vibrant: we had over 2,500 attendees at each edition, including users, educators, students, developers, and entrepreneurs. From the most experienced users or builders who wanted to share their expertise, to those who are new or simply curious and eager to learn.
We even had the opportunity to organize an edition earlier this year in Mendoza, another Argentinian province far from Buenos Aires, which attracted over 250 attendees and received support from the Champagnat University. This allowed university students to get closer to Ethereumâs technology and culture.
Later this year, we also supported The Mu Buenos, the spark that ignited Crecimiento. With their commitment and hard work, The Mu team demonstrated that the energy for the local community to come together and build cool stuff was still intact.
Crecimiento, particularly Aleph pop-up city, has done a phenomenal job of reaffirming that our country is a leader in developing skilled talent capable of innovating and building applications that bring the benefits of decentralized, permissionless, and censorship-resistant infrastructure to everyday people. This is ultimately the greatest challenge and goal.
As @0xtoucan rightly points out, Argentina is at a historic inflection point socially, politically, and economically. And this hasnât gone unnoticed by the broader crypto ecosystem, as frequently mentioned in the publication. Argentine talent is in demand worldwide, and they are coming for it.
Bringing Devconnect to Buenos Aires will provide life-changing opportunities for developers and community members from Argentina and all of LATAM. They will have the chance to connect with developers from around the world who are working on Ethereum and shaping its future. Also, the global Ethereum community will benefit from incorporating innovative, resilient, and proactive talent.
Additionally, it will showcase to the world a country where Ethereumâs technology finds organic adoption and real use cases, both financial and non-financial.
For this reason, we want to express our support for Buenos Aires, Argentina, as a candidate to host Devconnect 2025 and offer our team any assistance the organization may require.
One of this yearâs Devcon tracks is âReal World Ethereum.â In Argentina, Real World Ethereum is already a reality. Letâs make it happen!
Yes! Argentina has a vibrant Ethereum community!!
Although Iâm not Argentinian, I would love to see Devconnect 2025 in Buenos Aires, and Iâm excited to support this proposal.
Why? Last March, I unexpectedly traveled to Buenos Aires due to a series of random circumstances, and there, I discovered an expansive local Web3 community unlike anything I had experienced before. In Argentina â particularly in Buenos Aires, though not exclusively â I found a thriving crypto ecosystem and community I hadnât encountered in my home country.
In just a short time, I was fortunate enough to witness not one but two pop-up cities in Buenos Aires: MuBuenos from The Mu and Aleph from Crecimiento. These experiences allowed me to connect with a broad segment of the local community and revealed just how deep and diverse the ecosystem is. What stood out to me was that it wasnât just the familiar nomadic faces traveling from conference to conference â it was an entirely new set of people, all deeply engaged and rooted in the local culture.
In the Web3 space, we often use terms like âco-create,â but what do those words mean if you donât find peers to collaborate with? I used to think my difficulties in connecting were because Iâm not the most outgoing person⊠However, after spending time in Argentina, I realized what I had been missing: a grounded, welcoming, and inclusive community that fosters real engagement.
I believe Devconnect would be a fantastic opportunity for the Ethereum community to experience this firsthand. Argentinaâs ecosystem is not only vibrant but itâs also driven by an intense hunger for progress thatâs hard to find elsewhere. While Argentinians are well aware of their contributions to the ecosystem, I feel that many of us abroad are less conscious of just how many major projects have originated in Argentina and the unique circumstances and culture that have made this possible.
And if Devconnect visitors are as lucky as I was, they wonât just leave Buenos Aires with great memoriesâthey will leave with friends who feel like family. The kind of people who welcome you in, share their passion and make you feel like you truly belong. Itâs those friendships that turn an unforgettable event into something even more special.
