I wouldn’t want to go to Taiwan, too much uncertainty.

Taipei is the perfect venue for Devcon. Fresh boba all around, very high safety, amazing nature with mountains+ocean+forrest all quickly reachable from the city center.
Taipei would be my #1 choice by far if the political tensions with China are not too high a year from now…

You have surely seen the exciting news that Devcon 7 will be hosted in Bangkok, Thailand in November! 
We want to say thank you to all of you who put effort and enthusiasm into drafting an incredibly detailed proposal for Taipei City! 
We truly appreciate your proposal and dedication, and we’ll keep all proposals in mind for future years, and we are sure other event organizers will find the information helpful as well!
We are super excited about hosting Devcon 7 in Bangkok and think it’s an excellent location for our Ethereum gathering. At the same time, we hope that Devcon will resonate with the whole Southeast Asia region, and we’re calling it Devcon SEA.
