Thank you so much for your proposal—it’s fantastic to see all the ETH African communities coming together to execute this community hub. Since the theme of your proposed Community Hub overlaps with the Community Gardeners Hub, it would be great if both teams could collaborate to create a larger hub that features ETH communities from all around the world!
Additionally, we’ll consider this application for allocating a dedicated space for the African community to establish their own hub. However, we need to be mindful of the available space and take other Community Hub applications into account as well.
General Update on the Process
- The RFP is open until the end of August.
- Shortly after that (early September), we’ll announce which Community Hub proposals have been accepted and will work with those teams to fine-tune their proposals and ensure their production needs are met.
Also, please be informed that Community Hubs should complement the program that is happening on the stages, and there will be no microphones in these areas. Additionally, should you wish to record the programs happening in the space, you would need to (1) Source and manage your own equipment for this, and (2) Respect the privacy of the spaces around.
