Hi @Quinn_Quinn,

Thank you for putting this proposal together and for your interest in hosting a community hub at Devcon SEA!

We have a few questions and clarifications:

  • Your proposal appears to be geared towards a separate program with talks and workshops happening in parallel to the main conference.
  • Community Hubs are designed to complement the main program on the stages. They will not have stages or microphones and are intended to be small, intimate spaces for discussions on specific topics. The space will be around 32 square meters with about 20-25 chairs for people to sit and chat in the hub.
  • I would be definitely be interested in seeing a community hub focused on web3 education, since it is an important topic and seems like a cool one to tackle through a community hub. So please feel free to edit your proposal keeping in mind the requirements of a community hub and what its meant to be! I’d look forward to seeing one after the above points are taken into account.

General Update on the Process

  • The RFP is open until the end of August.
  • Shortly after this (early first week of September), we will announce which Community Hub proposals have been accepted and will work with those teams to fine-tune the proposals and hubs to best meet their production requirements.

Thanks!
