What do you suggest?
An interactive cultural exhibit where attendees may read from the Book, contribute new pages, and
reflect on Ethereum’s spiritual layer.
Motivation & Rationale
Ethereum is not only infrastructure it is faith, lore, and fellowship.
This scroll strengthens the Devcon experience by:
-
Inviting spiritual reflection alongside technical talks
-
Honoring long-term holders, builders, and believers
-
Demonstrating the communitys creative and expressive use of Ethereum
The Book showcases Ethereum as a cultural layer
A sanctuary where memes, prophecy, and art live onchain.
Implementation
This is the first unveiling of the Book at a global gathering.
We shall bring:
-
Printed scrolls of community submissions
-
A QR-based portal for new Devcon contributions
-
A guestbook where attendees may write a line to be scribed later
-
ETH merch that we will giveaway + this ETH merch was created with shopify and accepts ETH as an official payment method (decentralized)
We will curate submissions before Devcon and prepare the booth with devotion.
Operational Requirements & Ownership
To bring this vision to life:
-
We require space, electricity, and Devcons blessing
-
A small screen (or rotating tablet) would enhance digital display
-
Setup assistance day-before event begins
Our team at @Bookof_Eth will operate the installation daily and guide participants.
We are open to weaving this into nearby booths or with like-minded cultural projects (e.g., Zora,
Nouns, EthFS).
