ARG Community Hub: LATAM Strategies for Web3 Growth

Adopting Together: LATAM Strategies for Global Web3 Growth

An Adoption Hub bringing together LATAM leaders and communities to share practical Web3 adoption strategies through collaborative spaces, workshops, design dynamics, and sessions on marketing, UX, and education. Our goal is to connect local and global communities to accelerate real-world Ethereum adoption.

Motivation and Rationale

Adoption is one of Ethereum’s biggest challenges, especially in LATAM, a region with high potential but barriers of trust, education, and accessibility. A Community Hub is the best format to address this because it enables ongoing interaction, collaboration across teams, and co-creation of solutions something a one-time talk or workshop cannot achieve.

This Hub complements Devconnect ARG by bridging the local scene with the global ecosystem, showcasing how LATAM is building applied solutions at the application layer. It brings unique value by focusing on marketing, design, communities, and education as catalysts for real Ethereum use.

We are active members of the Ethereum and Web3 ecosystem in LATAM, organizing spaces, workshops, and community initiatives such as:

  • Web3 Marketing Bootcamp
  • Global Pizza Party
  • Build & Market: Pre-Devconnect Latam

By being in Argentina, we’ll integrate and strengthen collaboration with both local and regional communities, amplifying the impact of Devconnect.

Implementation

Production requirements:

  • Space for 80–100 people.
  • Projector, microphones, and sound system.
  • Flexible areas for talks, workshops, and group dynamics.
  • Support materials: whiteboards, post-its, and collaborative design kits.

Draft Program (sample schedule):

  • Mornings: hands-on workshops (marketing, UX, onboarding, SocialFi, growth strategies).
  • Afternoons: panels and roundtables with LATAM and global communities.
  • Special sessions: creative design dynamics, UX audits, live showcases of projects.
  • Open spaces: networking, mentoring, and a community builder corner.

All workshops and activities will center on real Ethereum applications: onboarding users, building trust in SocialFi, designing for wallets and dApps, and community-driven marketing to increase adoption.

Team

  • Valeska R. Zegarra (Valeskarzegarra) – Founder of MKT Community. Leads Web3 marketing initiatives in LATAM, with experience organizing communities and educational programs for Ethereum adoption.

  • Steve (stevevaltart) – Designer and visual artist focused on Web3 experiences. Facilitates creative dynamics and brings a user-centered vision for onboarding and adoption.

  • Jennifer Gabriela (gabrululu) – Web3 developer participating in bootcamps and hackathons. Community builder and IRL event organizer in Web3, connecting local and international communities.

  • María del Mar Borrero (marimarketingw3) – Digital marketing and communications specialist. Focused on content creation, social media, and SocialFi adoption strategies in Web3.

Neutrality and openness:

The Hub will be an open and collaborative space, free from commercial promotions or specific token endorsements. Our mission is to strengthen Ethereum adoption and the ecosystem of applications, creating a safe, inclusive, and neutral environment.

Hello @mkt_community and co-organizers,

Thank you for applying to organize a Community Hub for Devconnect ARG! Your proposal has now entered the voting phase.

In the coming days, the Devconnect team will review all submissions and select the ones that best reflect the spirit of the first Ethereum World’s Fair. Selected proposals will be announced during the week of September 8. After that, we’ll move into a collaborative phase to refine each Hub’s concept, programming, and production needs.

We appreciate your contribution to shaping the first Ethereum World’s Fair.

Hi @mkt_community,

Thank you for sharing your proposal with us. The space for Community Hubs at the Ethereum World’s Fair is limited, which means we’ve had to make some difficult choices. Unfortunately, your proposal wasn’t selected as an independent topic this time.

That said, we see strong alignment with the ARG Community Hub Proposal: [RFC] DRAFT - Latam Community Hub proposal. For this reason, we encourage you to connect and explore collaboration with their team, if it feels like a good fit.

We truly value the initiative and ideas you bring to the community, and we look forward to seeing you at the first Ethereum World’s Fair!

With gratitude,
Ornella & the Devconnect team
