Travel guides are everywhere, but we want something built uniquely for the Ethereum community.
As we prepare for Devconnect in Buenos Aires, we’re building a community-driven travel guide tailored specifically for Ethereum enthusiasts and builders. More than just a typical city guide, this will serve as a practical resource highlighting how to seamlessly travel using crypto, discover local crypto-friendly businesses, and engage with unique onchain experiences.
What We’re Looking For:
We’re inviting projects and ideas to feature in our travel guide. If your team is working on something that fits any of the categories below (or related topics), we’d love to hear from you:
Web3-native platforms for flight and hotel bookings
Decentralized travel insurance solutions
Local businesses accepting crypto (cafés, restaurants, shops)
Special perks or discounts for Devconnect attendees (SIM cards, crypto cards, coworking spaces, local museum entries)
Creative experiences (crypto-themed tours, NFT street art, cryptographic scavenger hunts)
Recommendations from local Ethereum and crypto communities
Crypto-frens activities (running clubs, meditation groups, gym collaborations)
Hacker houses and collaborative living spaces
Environmental travel solutions leveraging Ethereum
Practical information on traveling securely and conveniently with crypto (apps, wallet security, crypto payments)
Additionally, we’re specifically encouraging submissions from local Buenos Aires-based projects or teams who might offer unique Devconnect-themed experiences like Ethereum art installations, guided crypto mural tours, or similar community-centric activities.
Current Featured Proposals:
We have already received exciting submissions including:
- Betrusty & ZuCasa: Housing solutions tailored specifically for the crypto community.
- SimpleFi & Peanut: Platforms enabling payments with crypto at cafés and merchants, complete with interactive maps.
Selected submissions will receive:
- Visibility on the Ethereum Travel Guide for Buenos Aires
- Exposure to an anticipated 10,000+ attendees at Devconnect
- Opportunity to attract international visitors eager to explore Ethereum-friendly experiences
